Proven Energy - Phase 2 Wind

Applicants are not entitled to apply for or receive a grant if they have received (or expect to receive) any other funding from the national government or devolved administrations in relation to the proposed technology and/or its installation at the property.

This includes any funding under Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 1, Bioenergy Capital Grants Scheme; Scottish Community and Household Renewables Initiative (SCHRI) or Scottish Biomass Support Scheme.

Applicants may receive funding from other public sources (including BIG Lottery and local government).

Proven Facts

  1. Phase II grants are available to fund 50% of public sector wind turbines but this fund is a finite resource.
  2. Unlike many forms of renewable energy, Proven Energy wind turbines pay for themselves well within the lifecycle of the product.
  3. In many cases, Proven Energy wind turbines qualify for double Renewable Obligations Certificates (ROCs).
